THREE lives saved, and a suprise!

THREE moms chose life for their babies at the Planned Parenthood facility on Saturday during the multitude of prayer events that day.  And may be more that we don't even know about.  God only knows

<><

A few days before, a woman stopped and thanked all those who were there and for their prayers. Eleven years ago, her doctor told her and her husband that their baby had Downs Syndrome and advised abortion. They thought about the recommendation. They prayed. They decided to accept the child who God had given them. Their hearts were fixed to receive this child and love this child... no matter what.  But, surprise!  "When the baby was born there was no Downs Syndrome," she told those on the sidewalk. Later they discovered their daughter had a slight spinal problem, but nothing that physically limits her from enjoying almost everything other children her age can do. She is in school, doing well, happily running and playing with her friends.

Her story brought tears to those listening and praying that day on the sidewalk. It reminded those there that their presence and prayers are bearing fruit in the lives of others... in ways that only God knows. Her story reinforced their commitment to be there on the sidewalk for these moms and families.

May God continue to be glorified and Jesus' Holy Name, proclaimed in all things and in all ways in heaven and on earth!

Do you recognize this man?

We keep this anonymous, folks.  But that doesn't mean we can't give you a few hints when our heroes are on the sidewalk. :)  Knights of Columbus (that's the 1st hint) are often on the sidewalk during 40 Days for Life throughout the country. Here in Dallas many of the Knights are on standby to fill-in for an uncovered hour (or two or three!).  On this day, some of the Knights took the whole day (2nd hint: Wednesday, October 24th).  This Knight was on the sidewalk for almost all of those 12 hours. Perhaps you've seen him help out at a multitude of pro-life events (3rd hint: he is the Grand Marshal of the Dallas March for Life every year!).

My father told me, "You are going to have an abortion..."

There were a handful of people standing silently praying while watching a woman cut across the empty parking lot of the Planned Parenthood abortion facility. She directed her steps towards them.

She had an appointment at one of the other medical offices nearby. This was the first time she had been to this medical office park ... now invaded by Planned Parenthood, by abortion. She had something to say:

"I was only a teenager when I became pregnant.  I told my parents. My father, said, 'You have to have an abortion. You are going to have an abortion, and he wouldn't change his mind. I was basically told I would be kicked out...."  Her voice broke a little bit, then she went on.

"My mom wouldn't even let me use the car to go to school. I only had 2 weeks left to finish up school!   They told me I had brought shame on the family [not married, mix-raced child, etc.].  The relationship [with the baby's father] was already pretty much over, but his family let me stay with them for awhile. I shared a room with one of his sisters," and she shook her head, "His sisters really didn't like me."

And then big tears filled her eyes and she said, "God just took care of everything. God took care of everything.  My son is now in his thirties. After he was born, I married and I have [other children] too. I was determined that all of my kids would turn out well."  And then she shared with us about her now grown children and grandbaby!  "NOW those kids are so protective of me! Especially the boys. They don't want anything bad happening to their mom!" And then she smiled.

Finally, she shared, "Just a few years before my father died, we were finally able to reconcile."

Before she left, she handed one of the sidewalk counselors her business card. "I want to help other people. I want to tell them... God will take care of everything."

Heavenly Father, we thank you for this dear precious soul, for her courage, for her trust in You, for guiding her through the difficulties of her life, for all the graces poured out upon her and her family, for all the blessings you have bestowed upon her, for her willingness to open her heart and share with others and to help them. We thank you Holy Triune God for her and all those whose she has helped along the way to trust YOU. May she, may all of us, continue to grow in our faith and trust in You through the power of the Holy Spirit and through the Love of Your Son for us and for all mankind.
 Amen.

A day of and for LIFE!

It was a day for prayer.  For witness. For celebration.  It began with the holy sacrifice of the Mass at nearby Holy Spirit, followed by a prayer procession by bus to pray outside the Planned Parenthood mega abortion facility.  Then began Youth Day -- at a nearby location -- where 150 youth and families received yellow balloons celebrating LIFE mixed with black balloons to commemorate their brothers and sisters in the womb lost to abortion, and then processed through the South Dallas medical district.  It was a tremendous witness!  Then they joined in 45 minutes of prayer, silent vigil and praise and worship outside the Planned Parenthood.  After their return procession, they enjoyed a rousing presentation by Missy Martinez of Students for Life of America here from D.C.  It was as great day for youth, for family, for LIFE!

After it was all over -- the buses having long departed, the canopy at the Youth Day rally site having been taken down, cars and trucks loaded, the rally speaker on her way back to D.C. -- all seemed quiet at Planned Parenthood.  But in the quiet ...

There was a couple kneeling on the grass with their little boy in a stroller between them. It was just the three of them. They were the ones who God called to be there that afternoon. And they said, "yes".  Their heads were bent as they offered prayers for all those still in the abortion facility.  The father looked up only momentarily as someone stopped by to return a few stray "Pray to End Abortion" signs.

There they were -- the perfect living icon: a young married couple with a little boy.  A family. On their knees. Offering prayers to Holy Almighty God.  For the whole world.

That's what it is all about.

As holy man heads Home, the killing halts

Rev. Benedict Joseph Groeschel
23 July 1933 - 3 October 2014
Founder of The Franciscan Friars of the Renewal.

This morning (Friday October 10th) vigil attendees were able to listen and pray as EWTN broadcasted the funeral burial Mass for Rev. Groeschel. The day before was the Wake for Rev. Groeschel

And on both days (Thursday and Friday), there were NO abortions at Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Dallas Texas!

Rev. Groeschel pictured in center

Breaking News:  The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals denied Planned Parenthood's request for an en banc review (to re-hear arguments) in its challenge of the hospital admitting privileges and chemical abortion requirements of TX law HB 2.   In a second challenge of the ambulatory surgical center provision of HB 2 abortion providers have petitioned the U.S. Supreme Court to reverse the Fifth Circuit's most recent ruling allowing the ASC requirement to be enforced during the pendency of this appeal.    Keep Praying!!!

Umbrellas on Saturday...

But not because of rain!  We were blessed with a warm sunny  day down here in Dallas Texas. These folks came prepared to stay a good long time praying outside the Planned Parenthood abortion facility. And PRAY they did! Pictures below taken towards the close of the day:

"She's crying..."

Her story has to be told too.

Yesterday a young man en route to a neighboring apartment complex or one of the nearby medical facilities, crossed paths with one of the sidewalk counselors standing outside the Planned Parenthood at the 40 Days for Life-Dallas vigil site.   He slightly tilted his head and smiled when their eyes met.   "You have a question in your eyes" the sidewalk counselor said.  He responded, "Didn't I see you over... at that other place last week?"
The sidewalk counselor knew the other abortion facility that he was talking about, remembered him  and asked, "How is she doing?"  "Oh, she's ok," he said, then paused, looked away... up towards the sky and said quietly, "She's crying... and crying... she keeps on crying..."

That's what we know ... all we know for now.

Throughout the entire world, deep in the recesses of too many souls ... too numerous for us to count... is this pain ... are these cries. Often times, this kind of suffering was and is completely preventable. That too also haunts these precious souls.  Have mercy dear Lord.

Please pray. Right now. Please pray.
(Also see important note at the bottom of this page)
+ + +
An optional/possible prayer for use:
Heavenly Father, we entrust into Your hands all those who are contemplating abortion, have actively (or by indifference) participated in abortion, are suffering from abortion and all who have been affected by the same. We offer to You what we believe to be the most important things for ourselves and others in this regard [your intentions here ].  Grant, O God, that these words enter into all of our hearts: "It is important to be healthy in the soul".

Lord, may Your Holy Will be done unto all of us in everything! If You wish that we are healed of any illness/sickness of body, mind or soul; may we be healed. But if Your Will is different, may we continue to bear our cross(s). We pray to You also for all who intercede for others, purify our hearts so as to make us worthy for Your Holy Mercy to be given through us. Protect those who are suffering and relieve their sufferings, may Your Holy Will be done unto them and unto all of us. Through them and through us, may Your Holy Name be revealed! Help them… help us all… to bear our crosses with courage.
After this prayer, recite (3 times) :
Glory Be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit!
Glory Be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit!
Glory Be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit! Amen.

Prayer (slightly modified) from Meditations by Fr. Tomislav Vlašić and Fr. Slavko Barbarić

Important Note:   This man was given information about the trauma following abortion and given information about The Rachel Ministries which provides professional, respectful, and non-judgmental care and help.  Right now there are many courageous women and men seeking God's healing following the trauma of abortion and the loss of a precious child. Rachel Vineyard Retreats, Project Joseph, pastoral counseling and other healing ministries are reaching out to help. If you or someone you know is suffering, there is hope.  For more information, please visit www.racheldallas.org or for help specifically for men, www.projectjosephdallas.org.

1 + 1 = 2 Two Babies!

Glorious news! Here are two jubilant reports from the sidewalk outside the Planned Parenthood mega abortion facility (7989 West Virginia Drive, Dallas)

On Thursday:
Tears!!! Alleluia!! Jesus! A baby saved this morning at Planned Parenthood!!  Please, please, lift this mother who chose LIFE up in prayer.  She just needed someone to offer her help instead of death for her baby & lifelong torment for her.  She saw my humbled tears of joy at the news of LIFE for her baby!  Thank you God!

Then on Friday:
A mom stopped her car near a sidewalk counselor at the Planned Parenthood abortion facility and said she saw this sign:
 PREGNANT?NEED HELP?972-BABY-DUE
but was having trouble getting the numbers and letters right on her cell phone. She disclosed she was considering abortion, had a previous abortion and already has two little ones in diapers. "I need HELP!" she said. The sidewalk counselor gave her the information for a pregnancy resource center where this brave young mother could get the assistance she needed for and her baby.

Praise Holy Triune God!!!
<><
Other big news!  The U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a ruling to suspend a lower court's ruling that struck down key provisions of Texas' pro-life law HB 2.  This means that the State of Texas can enforce the ambulatory surgical center safety regulations and admitting privileges requirements in abortion facilities across the state while the Court considers the appeal in full. Read more here.

While this means that two of the four abortion facilities in Dallas are not able to legally perform abortions as of today (Praise God!), Planned Parenthood -- which is already outfitted as an ambulatory surgical center -- will continue to kill unimpeded. So we must -- and we will -- continue to stand in prayerful vigil outside its doors.

The Lord is calling the neighbors!

The community surrounding the new Planned Parenthood's "mega" abortion facility has heard the call and is responding:
One man stopped by as he was walking to the store and asked, "Are you sure Planned Parenthood does abortions?" (Yes - upwards of 330,000 abortions each year in the U.S.) He was not happy to hear that at all. He wanted to visit with us more and said that he will stop by again. He then shared that he was in the hospital ER only a few days before, saying "I'm grateful to the good Lord for sparing my life" (Amen!), and he committed to offering prayers for the abortion facility workers and for all those going in for abortions.
Another gentleman from the neighborhood came to say he thought Planned Parenthood actually helped people plan their families. He was shocked to hear they perform abortions. He helped us pray against this evil, and he will be back.

Another drove by and turned around to ask what we were doing.  We explained, and once again, this man did not realize Planned Parenthood performed abortions.  He didn't even realize abortion is legal U.S. throughout all 9 months of pregnancy!  He will also be back to pray.
One more gentleman who attends Christ for the Nations stopped by to share that he and his wife were told to abort their son because of possible genetic deformities. They both received God's message at the same time to not go through with the abortion, and today their son is 23 and perfectly normal!

(Special thanks to our neighbors from the North in Allen, Texas who traveled nearly 80 miles round trip to pray at the vigil and shared many of these interactions with us. Across the miles, we are united in prayer!)
What a glorious day!

Notice the pretty hedge behind them? Gone. Planned Parenthood ripped the hedge out
and concrete was poured on Friday. More on that later...
