He's a Boy!!!

We received several emails each day of wonderful happenings out on the sidewalk ... here are just a few to lighten your heart...

Tuesday, October 12th
Lauren (40 Days for Life-Dallas co-coordinator) writes:   “I went out and prayed this morning with Pastor Wayne Mitchell of the North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship Church (6:00-8:00 a.m.)... I wanted to be there to thank him for coming out, encourage his presence and pray w/ him. But I was the one who was lifted up!!!! :).  I felt like I was covered in a strong veil of prayer as I left around 8am! :) He got to meet members of Birth Choice and 2 SWCs [sidewalk counselors] this morning, too!!!! :)  He kept saying he knew it was God's Will for him to be there this morning...AMEN!!! :)
Later this same day, in the evening, Fr. Peter Geromel (Anglican) came with a couple of parishioners and they prayed all of the decades of the Rosary.  He was on his knees… didn’t budge. (Whew!!!) Those knees must be made of iron or something.

Friday, October 8th
Father Jason Cargo lead prayers with St. Monica Catholic Church, Dallas during their adopted day.
We sure are seeing a whole lot of priests and pastors stepping out on the sidewalk to pray during 40 Days for Life vigil this year! What a blessing!

Thursday, October 7th  [This entry was posted “in real time” with prayer requests, and has since been updated.]
A couple stopped en route to Southwestern late-term abortion center. The mother-in-law of one of the 40 Days for Life-Dallas campaign coordinators counseled/ talked with them.  By God’s Grace there were also Spanish speaking prayer volunteers from Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Dallas, to translate! The couple agreed they needed help and were directed to one of the near-by crisis pregnancy centers.  [Prayer requests were sent via text message/email …many prayers outside the vigil joined those who were praying on site.]
And…

The couple chose LIFE!!!

And…
It's a BOY!!!!!!!

Thursday, October 7th
Patty, CPLC Director of Ministries, writes about a  most “precious” heart warming sight during one evening at the prayer vigil:  "An 'elderly couple' (he was quite frail, too) sat side by side one night in folding chairs they brought themselves. They were whispering the rosary to one another.  Just the three of us were there. I didn't even introduce myself or even say hi.  I'm sure they wouldn't have been interested..."
